Your priorities for NHS Change - survey

A new survey has been published by Change NHS, focusing on ideas that emerged from their engagement process, to help finalise the 10-Year Health Plan.
Help build a health service fit for the future.

What are your priorities for change?

The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) launched its 10-Year Health Plan engagement exercise, Change NHS.

The 10-Year Health Plan will set out how the NHS will fix the underlying problems set out in Lord Darzi’s independent report which said the NHS was in ‘critical condition’.

The three shifts – hospital to community, analogue to digital, and sickness to prevention – can deliver on what service users want.

The NHS has heard that service users want:

  • Better, quicker access to care in your community and hospitals delivering world class care to those who need it.
  • Staff with the technology they need to care for you.
  • An NHS that helps prevent illness and spots diseases like cancer early, to give the best chance of survival.

If the NHS can get this right, then they can deliver what matters to you – shorter waits, supported staff, and better care.

Help make this a reality by telling the NHS what you think about some of the emerging ideas for change in the following survey. There are five sections, each with a video introducing the ideas, and some questions for you to answer.

Take part in the survey

If you would prefer to print out the survey, you can access this via their accessibility page.

Please respond by 5pm on Monday 14th April for your views to be considered as part of the development of the 10-Year Health Plan.
