What is Children's Mental Health Week?
Children's Mental Health Week is a mental health awareness week launched by charity, Place2Be. The week exists to empower, equip and give a voice to all children and young people in the UK.
Did you know...
Did you know that one in five children face mental health challenges? Place2Be are encouraging everyone to take a proactive approach to children's wellbeing this Children's Mental Health Week.
This year’s theme is ‘Know Yourself, Grow Yourself'. Place2Be want children, young people and adults to embrace self-awareness and explore what it means to them. This will help them grow and develop resilience to cope with what life throws at them.
There is nothing more important than children’s mental health. At the same time, it is hard to imagine an area of medicine that is more marginalised and underfunded.
Place2Be has a wealth of resources and articles on the subject of children's mental health. They also offer mental health support in schools through one-to-one and group counselling.
