Artificial Intelligence (AI) can help health and care services by doing things that are usually done by a person. For example, note taking during an appointment with your GP or reviewing medications dosages. AI has the potential to make a significant difference to health and care through its ability to understand and review lots of information.

NHS England NHS AI Lab was created to bring together the UK government, health and care providers, academics and technology companies to consider the use of AI in Healthcare.

In Sussex, the Digital and Data People’s Panel - in partnership with health and care staff - want to understand the views of people and communities on the use of AI to support early thinking on the use of AI in health and care services across Sussex.
