Ageing Well's Festive Directory - things to do and help with finding support
Ageing Well is a programme of activities and services for people aged 50+ living in Brighton and Hove. It is delivered by ten local community and voluntary sector organisations. Activities and services are designed to promote better health and wellbeing.
The festive directory provides people with information that could be useful over the festive period along with Christmas events and shared meals.
The directory also features:
-
Information on how to get food through telephone shopping, meal delivery services and how to get support if you are struggling to afford to buy food
-
Information on other services and places to get support from the council, where to get help with mental health and information about bus times during the festive period
-
Information on places to stay warm, online and telephone activities as well as a range of in-person events throughout December and into the new year.
The events highlighted in the directory are happening almost every day and range from various lunch clubs to Christmas markets and fairs, to quizzes and fun days.
Ageing Well will be updating the directory until the 20th of December.
