Press Release: Healthwatch Brighton Annual Report 2021-22 published
The big issues:
- Waiting lists for Health Care
- Dental services
- Access to GP's and Primary Care
- Pressure on Health and Care staff
"Local people, the NHS and social care are recovering from COVID-19, but access to services and waiting lists remain a major problem for many. The Healthwatch Brighton and Hove Annual report was published on 30th June to meet our statutory requirements. Today's press release, which celebrates our work and achievements, coincides with launch of the Sussex Integrated Case System (ICS) - the NHS in Sussex is re-organising to integrate more closely with local authorities, the voluntary and community sectors to improve how it works for the population of Sussex and their staff. As the ICS embeds, Healthwatch will continue to: - Speak out as the independent voice for patients and the public - Challenge with the aim of improving services - Check that decision makers are keeping their promises."
