Ardingly Court Surgery, important practice changes
All patients should have received a letter advising them that, from 1st April 2018, the current service will operate as two separate practices serving their own neighbourhoods, but based at the same two sites.
The doctors who work at the practice now will each be based at one site only from April 1st; Dr Sutcliffe, Dr Dirmikis, Dr Greany, Dr Ballantyne, Dr Beesley and Dr McGavin plan to be based at the Wellsbourne Health Centre in Whitehawk. Dr Barker and Dr Turlini will be based at Ardingly Street in Kemptown and plan to move to the Palace Place site from September 2018.
You will not be left without GP care at any time and none of the existing doctors intend to stop providing medical care in the city.
What do I need to do now?
All patients need to decide which doctors they would like to see and which practice they wish to stay registered with – either Ardingly Street or the Wellsbourne Health Centre. After April 2018 patients will not be able to be seen at both sites.
If you wish to continue having your care delivered at Ardingly Street, you need take no action.
If you wish to have your care delivered at the Wellsbourne Health Centre in Whitehawk, please let the practice know by one of the following methods:
- Fill out and return a form which can be collected from either surgery
- Write or e-mail to surgery@nhs.net or text or phone on 07927-404623.
You can also do this on behalf of your children and any dependent adults.
