About this event
Shared on behalf of NHS Sussex.
The NHS has been there for us for over 76 years. But to make sure it’s here for the next 76 years, doing all it can to support everyone’s health, NHS Sussex are asking for your help.
The Government has launched Change NHS to hear your views, experiences, and ideas which will shape a new 10 Year Health Plan for England. Whether you have a little to say or a lot, your views, experiences and ideas will help shape immediate steps and long-term changes.
This is a once in a generation opportunity to set the NHS on a path for the future. Together we can make a positive impact. We need your voice, so NHS Sussex will be running four face-to-face public workshops across the county in January and early February: this is your chance to shape the development of the 10-Year Health Plan for England as well as looking at how local priorities respond to the plan.
The face-to-face workshops will focus on three major areas of change, or “shift”:
- Moving more care from hospitals to communities
- Making better use of technology
- Preventing sickness, not just treating it.
What you have to say about health and social care is important. Your views and experiences can shape the future of health and care services in England so you are warmly encouraged to attend.
