About this event
The Brighton and Hove Older People’s Council (OPC) is a local organisation that acts as a critical friend to the Council. They attend relevant council and health meetings, scrutinise policies, invite policy decision makers to their meetings and take part in consultations. They are in regular contact with other older people related organisations, and publicise issues through public meetings, community contacts and writing to councillors.
- The contribution of all older people is acknowledged and valued
- The needs of older people are recognised and met
- Older people are involved in making the decisions that affect their daily lives and the communities in which they live
They hold open meetings, so you are welcome to attend to learn about their work and ask questions.
The agenda for the next meeting will be available nearer the time.
