Dementia Action Week is a national event that sees the UK public taking action to improve the lives of people affected by dementia. The Alzheimer's society are organizing a week long events between the 16 - 22 May 2022 focused on focus on the theme of diagnosis.

Various dementia friendly events will be running throughout the week (please see list below) for activities planned in Brighton & Hove and contact details.
- Through out the week:
Creativity will be Celebrated locally, an exhibition of art works and photographs of creative workshops in Brooke Mead shared spaces, made by and with Brooke Mead residents and Fabrica. Private event for Brooke Mead residents.

Take Notice: A dementia friendly conversation event at Fabrica. A lively conversational event led by Charlotte Cranridge and inspired by Fabrica's current exhibition. Cost £3 book at www.fabrica.org.uk/events. Free warming refreshments.
